Research by Kärcher found out that cleaning indeed can relieve stress and with just 13 minutes of starting work, a person can calm down with stress.

Kärcher further explained that six in 10 of the 2,000 adults surveyed claimed that cleaning and tidying a house can give an instant feeling of calm and less stressed.

Washing up was found to be the most common stress-relieving chore, followed by vacuuming and doing the laundry.
